I have I-485 pending at CSC for more than two years. My lawyer said they are doing third agency name check. But it has been more than 6 months. Seems like it takes forever to get the name check done. Anybody has the same experience or have any idea how long it take to get the name check done?

For I131 the P.O Box is 30114. You canget this information at California Service center Guideline. I just mailed my apllication to this address two weeks ago, and I received the receipt a week after I mailed my application out.

You can go to your local INS to get IEAD. I had the same situation. My I-485 is pending at CSC and I filed EAD at CSC before I moved to Ohio. I went to Ohio local INS got my IEAD without any problem.

I need help on EAD renewal. I don't feel comfortable about the electronic file I-765. Is that OK for me not use electronic file and just paper file the I-765 as I did before? Thanks for your input.

Maybe this message will make you feel better. My ND was 8/3/01 I-485 EB3, still pending, received REF 11/02. So you are not the oldest case.
