Time of interview by the Consulate differs from country to country. I think US Consulate in France does not have the same load as countries like India, China, Mexico etc. therefore you maybe lucky to get the interview soon. Good luck...

recover time outside US Seems you need arount 3 months.. if you stayed out of US for sometime that will add up to that needed days then you're in luck. extend your H1 until that date maybe you'll get lucky
