We got our PPs stamped yesterday, on 7/20/01, at INS San Francisco office. The whole process was very straight forward and took about an hour and half from start to finish.
I\'d like to highlight few points about our stamping experience:
1. You can find nearby parking that ranges from $15...
Approved as per AVM (checked several times and I hope I heard this right).
RD: 2/20/01
ND: 03/16/01
Thanks for ciba for all the good work and good luck to all other waiters.
BTW, I am not in ciba\'s tracking list.

I completely support debo_nair. He has full right to post his thoughts, including occasional frustrations. We all are going through a rough patch where INS is ..... us from both ends. I\'d rather slam somebody who has got time to create a userid for slamming somebody in the first...
I thought to create a thread to slam INS for its deadful acts of toying with our future. It becomes necessary to vent out all that frustration to keep us sane. No hard feelings.

What a pity that our future is in the hands of bunch of \'sarkari\' clerks.
It is not that 98 waiters don\'t deserve approval before 2001 ones, but it is the unpredictability of INS that makes me mad. You feel so close and suddenly the equation changes.(sorry, my frustration).
I just checked JIT report at
http://www.fragomen.com/Govt_processing/CSC/csc_jit_052501.pdf
INS has started processing 1998 I-485 cases.
What a blow for 2001 waiters!!

Yes. You can go and get your FP done ahead of schedule, provided the office accepts you. If the office is too crowded on that particular day, unfortunately they\'ll not accept you.
I\'d suggest going in the afternoon for the best chances.
