rsrgc ,
you are right about not requiring a transit visa if you dont leave the airport but if you want to fly thru frankfurt on lufthansa
you need a valid stamp on the passport or require a transit visa .
My friend was stopped from boarding a flight and was forced to take a german transit...
Did you guys know that you need a valid h1 visa stamp on the passport
to land in frankfurt or you need to transit visa ( german )
[ It might be valid to for travellers to india or other countries through frankfurt ]
It is taking a few months now
but dont worry too much about it . You will get it . I think there is a plastic card tracker discussion on "after the green card" forum .
Try there
according to avm
approved on march 4 and received an email that lawyers have got the approval notice yesterday . As everybody suggested call the IIO now .
Kotag ,
Talked to an IIO on friday , she said case not yet assigned to an officer but got approved on monday . I suggest just hang on and you will get approved .
wow
tons of june/july waiters checking avm , talking to IIOs just to hear
their approval . look at this guy here . I can understand his
situation . Good Luck !
Spoke to an IIO just a few minutes before . Got thru very very easily .
Asked her the first question
"Have you received all background checks ? "
Ans: Dont know yet . FP results are okay . Does it mean i have to wait for
2 more weeks to call her again .
Right now the only way is
to call IIO . Follow the link below

read Deerod\'s suggestion before calling IIO .
Wish you all the luck !
