    E-3 & Gc

I have a question. If enter US on E-3 visa which is available to the Australian citizens will it be possible to file I-140 and I-485 forms and then obtain GC? Can there be problems or issues? E-3 is granted for 2 years period. After 2 years one needs to leave US to renew the visa. Thanks!

    I hate this lottery

Some people will play their entire lives and they will never win. Yes there's that possibility. Some will play once and win. There's that possibility too. It is a Lottery. Just like one in which some people are playing every week trying to guess 6 numbers, and they never guess the right...

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

My relatives and my friends live in US. Immigration to the USA is a long process. I have not tried any of the options available to me yet. Once all of the options available to me are exhausted then I will look at Canada's immigration program.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

I would like to come and settle permanently in US. I have several options to consider: to win the DV Lottery (a slim chance, but there is a chance), to wait for some 20 odd years before my uncle (who is US permanent resident) becomes a US citizen, and one of my parents obtains US permanent...

How long may I have to wait?

Both of her parents - my grandparents - were born in Kazakhstan. It's only her who was born in China. Can she claim her parents citizenship to avoid the backlog, which is similar to the DV Lottery rules? I am not sure what FB2B is. The immigration process to US is coded in peculiar way. :)...

How long may I have to wait?

Recently, my uncle received a green card. As I understood, he can’t sponsor me on a family based visa. Once he becomes a citizen of US, then he can sponsor my parent, who in turn, can sponsor me as a child, not needing to wait for 5 years to be eligible to become a citizen. It will be many years...

    Asylee Status

Congratulations! Can you reveal the name of the judge and the court where you case was heard? PS. If you apply for asylum and your case is not approved and transferred to IJ, can you, then, nominate the judge who will be looking at your case? Or, is this not possible?:)

Why are some Asylum claim cases readable in the internet?

I am not sure about how many... I would say most if not all cases that went through courts are published. If not online then in law libraries. How would a lawyer prepare the case if the cases are not available? Anyway, I am not sure if it is required by law to publish the cases, it is...

    Need Help! Please respond

I am a novice myself. I believe I have a strong case to apply for asylum but I am hesitant. Anyway, this is what I think about the paper work: In US, your chances of success will improve considerably if you are represented by a lawyer. You won’t be pushed around if USCIS decides too...
