Don\'t to LA center. Go to Santa Ana. It is quick, ample parking and they have no problem accepting cases which says Los Angeles. Go there at 7 thru 9 AM and you will be out within an hour. Very nice experience. Cheers

PUMP, go to Santa Ana for Stamping Pump, I am from bay area but went to Santa Ana, go at 7:00 and you will get out of the place in an hour. No long wait, ample parking etc. etc...

You could go to any other office for Stamping You could go to any other INS office provided they let you do it. I was suppose to go to San Jose office and I went to Santa Ana in LA. I told them frankly about my situation and they let me do the stamping without problem.

I agree with ARC You should have your receipt and valid visa to return. Or you should have your parole. Without that you could get into trouble.

Bongo, My location was San Jose - Did it in Santa Ana Bongo, Though my location was San Jose, I went and did the stamping in Santa Ana. It was a smooth affair. I told the truth and the guy did it and also chatted with me for sometime. Good exeprience, no crowd.
