Is it necessary that I have to go to my local INS office for stamping? For example, if my local INS is San Jose, can I go to San Francisco for passport stamping?
You could go to any other INS office provided they let you do it. I was suppose
to go to San Jose office and I went to Santa Ana in LA. I told them frankly about
my situation and they let me do the stamping without problem.
