Same situation here. RD is 06/14 @NSC. I got my approval last week but wife's is still pending (no LUDs either). I know cases where July-end RDs have received EAD approvals.
Pl post if you receive any updates.

RIR converted on Mar 28 '07
Approved: May 04
Certified!!!
What a sweet sight for sore eyes. Finally, my status online shows as Certified.
But it still continues to say TR and not RIR. Since I have seen both examples of these scenarios on this forum, I would assume that its just another example of inconsistencies within DBEC.
Just as a...
Weekly Stats
Thanks Amdavad and another_fella, for pulling these statistics every week.
Hope you can continue the good work for atlleast another couple of months.
DBEC has been pretty consistent at approving ~1100 cases every week for the month of April. Hope this thruput continues....
Query received from DBEC
Out of the 6 conversions sent on March 28, 2 have been certified and 2 have received request for more information for evidence regarding the advertising efforts done. One hunch is that it must have been different certifying officers picking up the different sets of...

Congrats sanksin77!
I saw a couple of other cases in the other threads (who sent their conversion packages around the same timeframe) that have got certified.
It seems like DBEC is indeed picking the cases at random.
I think thats a fair assessment. But there are also a couple of exceptions seen whose waiting periods have been longer. And I think the priority date is also a factor. Thats also what my legal contact mentioned.
Package sent...
My RIR conversion/recuirtment package was sent on March 29, just 2 days before the April 1st deadline. Still awaiting a response...

I believe you need to include all the applicants name/info and the reasons for rejection in the report (even if they are not interviewed). For e.g. an applicant might have applied but his resume does not reflect the qualifications asked for.In this case, you need to state...

You should be able to straightaway reject them. The interview needs to happen only if they qualify according to the resume process and on the basis of their resumes.
Congrats Kannan_sfo and thanks for sharing the news.
Question -- During the RIR recruitment activity, how long did you run the newspaper ad for?
I am aware that under TR, it needs to be for 3 days, but my legal coordinator tells me that for TR-->RIR conversion cases, its only for 1 day.
Prefer Canada
My experience with Canada has always been a breeze. Hence that would be my vote.
I have avoided India so far since appointments were difficult to get but off late I am told that since the consulates have expanded capacity, its quite easy there too.
So, if you can combine your...
