Somehow it makes ME happy...
I have been following your posts for a year
and a half now... and I am pleased to hear
you got approved!
CONGRAGULATIONS to you and your wife.
Every struggling journey sure has a happy ending.
3 weeks after interview... Still waiting.
It has been three weeks since my interview @ local INS
office (Detroit). I am still waiting for approval notice.
My patience is being tested big time.
I asked my friend...
And he said you do not have to anything...
They will see that your case has been approved and
won\'t send you an EAD!
Regarding your check, I think they will cash it.
I am not sure.
Congragulations G_CARD!
Congrats g_card on your approval.
I had a different experience at Detroit INS. I was interviewd
and was told that the approval will come in MAIL!
So, I guess they have reverted back to approving cases there
immediately. Congrats!
Local interviews @ detroit INS - not approved immediately.
Besides my case, I have come to know of couple of
other cases where the interview was set in Detroit local INS
and the cases were not approved immediately.
We were told that we will get approval notices in mail.
A friend\'s...
Yes.
They looked at my passport and wrote down
the last day of my entry. Since I did not have AP,
they did not ask for it.
I do not know if this is the standard of this is rare.
I mean, after the interview, I thought you either get stamped or
rejected.
Prakash Eswaran - I think it is not a problem.
Portland-OR, thanks for the encouragement...
And Prakash, I think it should not be a problem.
Keep posting any progress... If I ge any information, I
will let you know.
The thing that I am not alone makes me breath a little
easier.
No reason what so ever!
I had all the papers required and the interview was nothing.
He asked me and my wife a set of standard questions and
then said that I shall get my "Approval letter in mail in
couple of weeks barring" some sort of security check.
The IIO was pretty cool...
My case was transfered to local INS (Detroit) and was
interviewed on June 7. But I was not approved at that
time! I was told I will be notified about by approval
by mail.
Did any one else have similar experience ???
Please post.
My info:
R.D...
My interview... Still not approved!!
I had my interview on Friday morning.
I went there with all my papers (W2s and schedules,
employment letter and everything.)
The interview was pretty much like:
"Do you belong to any org ? Were you ever deportted??
Did you prosectue...
Yes.
They looked at my passport and wrote down
the last day of my entry. Since I did not have AP,
they did not ask for it.
I do not know if this is the standard procedure or this
is a special case.
I mean, after the interview, I thought you either get stamped or
rejected. I did not...
Details...
Check out my details at the start of the thread.

Prakash Easwaran...
I did not intend to scare you guys... just wanted to post my experience.
I am sure your interview will go well... Post your experience as soon as you get over with the interview.
All the Best.
Just a warning!
I am not sure about this.... but I heard that if you
process your EAD@ local INS office, the chances of
your case getting transfered to local office is higher.
As you guys know, it would mean a longer wait for approval.
Man, there seems to be no movement for transfer cases.
Did anyone recently receive any communication ??
Any ideas ??
Please post.
