INS generated ref for my case asking two pictures. Anybody got this kind od ref. I never seen this kind of ref.

It is not true for all case My ND Sep25 2000. My case assigned to an officer on Aug 3rd 2000 and still pending.

Mahatma I did not mentioned about you can not file for AOS. This type of case it will take time extra weeks. It should approve. Only matter is time.

Don\'t panic Mahatma It happened my case. It was assigned for some time after that the staus is pending because of my I140 was approved for CP. There lots of threads regarding this. Go and read.

No Title ND Sep 25th. I 140 approved for CP. I called IIO and she said requested info form NVC.

trying, IIO told me it will take 4 to 6 weeks.

No Title It is possible because of FP. My case is pending because of my I140 is approved for CP. I never applied for CP processing. By mistake some where it happend. Hope your is not.

check your I140 approved for CP or AOS check your I140 approved for CP or AOS. If it is for CP, your file needs to transfer from national visa center.My case like this.

MY ND is 09/25/00. Just now I spoke to very good IIO. She went through all documents like fp and others. Finally she said, we waiting some info from national visa center and it will take 4 to 6 weeks. Any body know what this procedure and how long it will take.

No Title INS requested my file from NVC on Aug 2 nd week. I have called NVC on the same time the message was played that time is different from now. The earlier message was packet3 sent to an Attorney of Records on July 24,2000 and your file is sent to US Consulate - Chennai on August. But now...
