1 out of 2 approved 140s transfer to NSC?

Hi, guys, both my NIW and EB1A 140s were approved in TSC (efiled in 07/07) recently and today I got an email saying that my EB1A 140 was transfered to NSC for processing (while the NIW 140 is still in TSC as of now). What are they doing here? Anybody has experience? I hope they are trying to put...

    help with EB1a REF, please!

What categories did you claim? It appears that you can at most claim publications, citations and reviewer and none of them are very strong. Also how do your citations distribute among your papers? Do you have any 1st-authored paper with > ~30 citations?

    recent e-file to TSC

I know all efiles went to TSC before. Just curious, so now even efile documents should be sent to their respective centers, depending on the areas of residency of the applicants?

    Checks cashed!

    So it took a month?

Processing statistics for NSC and TSC

Exactly. NIW and EA are the ones we care about. I heard many times that TSC approval rate is about 20% higher than NSC and thus much better. Now I see where the number comes from. But first it seems to me that it's only for year 2006 and if TSC handled much more LC based I140 in 2006, it didn't...

    I-140 LUD on Sunday (8/12)

At least for my I140s, a LUD each 08/13 too, as well as 08/12 and 08/14. They were palying around the documents, :D .

    I-140 LUD on Sunday (8/12)

One of I140 got four LUDs already, 08/06, 08/07, 08/08 and 08/12, although I efiled it only on 07/26. My case is still pending with a statement saying that efile was received on 07/26. It even didn't mention the package I sent. The other I140 efiled on the same date got LUDs on 08/06 and 08/12...

When does TSC usually pick up the mails?

Hah, LUD yesterday, 08/06. Don't tell me that they already weren't happy because of delay of the mails. The details still the same as before, the LUD on 07/28, as following. Current Status: Case received and pending. On July 26, 2007, we received this I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN...

When does TSC usually pick up the mails?

So your package was delivered on 02/21? You were in fact right on time because it's 7 business days. You had the weekend and president's day. Anyway, they picked up the mails. I believe and hope there won't be any problem.

When does TSC usually pick up the mails?

Yes, I saw that too. Do they work that hard? Somebody said 9 am too. The problem with me is that by the 7 business days rule, my mails should be in their hands today. I worry how they want to deal with that. I know most likely they don't care. And if this thing really goes for a regular...

When does TSC usually pick up the mails?

Thanks, Chris but the one you quote is for I485, I believe. If they pick up mails tomorrow, that in fact could be considered out of the 7 business days time frame, depending how you look at it.

When does TSC usually pick up the mails?

Thanks. I know the postmark rule in most places. But at least for efile I-140, here is what the big brother says "The required initial evidence must be received by the Service Center within seven business days of e-Filing the Form. "...

When does TSC usually pick up the mails?

OK, this is giving me a little bit nervous here. I efiled my I140s on the night of 07/26. So today is my 7th business day, i.e., they need my supporting documents by the end of today. I mailed my packages on Saturady by express mails @ USPS. I know I pushed the limit but let's not talking about...

    CVs of the letter writers

Hi, guys, do you attach the CVs of the writers for your recommendation letters? I didn't ask for them because I didn't want to make my package super-thick. I didn't beleive their CV are that important either since the letters all contain their major shining points. But now I just saw many places...

    I-140 job description & Occupation

Like I said above, the question regarding "job title" is a multiple choice one, at least in efile 140. You can only select one from those possible answers set by USCIS but Senior Research Associate is not one of the answers. The closest one for you is Life and Environmental Scientist. I think...

    I-140 job description & Occupation

One more thought. I don't think whatever you put in part 5 matters at all. Part 6 is the one used to define your area of expertise and your peers. So part 6 does matter. However, at least for efile, the job title is a multiple choice question. So I bet it's not too good an idea to be...

    I-140 job description & Occupation

I don't think it matter much no matter broad or narrow. There is a standardized SOC code out there. You can't be too creative to narrow down yourself, unless you want to list a number for "other researcher", or something like that. And I might disagree with you, Chris. For regular EB2, it...

    NIW Denial @NSC

Well, Chris, 28 is not big. But traditionally for NIW, that is quite a lot. Actually one of my friend's lawyer said he would be very confident to see a case approved in NIW with 25+ citation. And he was not trying to bait my friend because he had less than 10.

    NIW Denial @NSC

What is your research area? Could you please post the exact words in RFE and denial notices? This might help all of us, including you. You might scan and attach it, I think.

Thanks, Pana. I was thinking to efile tomorrow night. Will do it tonight then.
