What about calling KCC to inquire? I read the posts above and have a further question. I am asking on behalf of a friend who had opened a P.O. Box at the local post office branch to have a secure and permanent address to which she can receive mail rather than worrying about changing addresses...

You can find out the date of your scheduled interview if you email or call KCC. It is OK that you still have not received the second package; most people receive it about a month before their interview date, so you have a lot of time.

My welcome letter arrived the day after my green card arrived. I entered the US on January 20, received green card on February 8, and received welcome notice on February 9. (I actually received a second copy of the welcome notice on February 10 too... they issued it twice!! i guess someone...

Successful Interview My interview was successful at the Consulate in Sofia. I have already entered the US as a permanent resident and am now waiting for the actual green card in the mail. Hopefully, I will get it soon. If anyone has any questions, I will be happy to answer.

The current number posted in the Visa Bulletin for February for Asia is 3800. If the current number reaches yours before September 30, 2007, then you will make it. There is a lot of information posted in the forum about this.
