Once you are approved,
then you are a legal PR, there is no way they could deny you any more. INS needs to go through a whole process to revoke your PR if there is solid ground.
So talk to a lawyer and get it straight out.
congrats!
I totally understand the huge relife after such a long wait. enjoy it.
292641, tufan, cole, Khan_bacha and other 2001s your turns are around the corner.
not necessary 2nd inspection
we just came back from an international trip. I had my card, but my wife only had the stamp. the inspector only machine-read her passport and then let her through. they could easily find out your status by your passport or your A#
mine kinds of like yours.
wife is still waiting for her card. we stampped together at the end of May. our lawyer got a letter lately from CIS ask for her photo. Looks like the one we submitted at local office doesn't meet the requirement.
now they change to passport type...
Cole,
Don't be depressed. In my case, FBI told me my name check was done in early March. My LUD was never changed (somewhere 2003) until the day it changed to approval message.
all 2001s who had name check done should be hearing good news soon (weeks or worst couple months)
unitednations, you are trying to help others, however.
I don't think your information is correct.
Name check is done by FBI, it takes couple hours to years to finish.
It IS what slow down many old cases:
CIS would NOT process your case until they receive the feedback from FBI. only...
