Went to VSC and got letter they would expedite my case. 8-04.
H1b 7 th year and EAD and Ap all approved after NAme check was cleared.

Derivate No lUD or case approved so far.

Congressional enquires are of no help!

tried Senators office and congreswoman both parties.

Even request from Govt agency did not help!

Till i went to VSC no promise or hope was given.

Name check was they key.

292641 Congrats and have a question please

as you said that NAME CHECK is the key, have to done anything special.

Coz I think I am also stuck here,

I have current EAD3expiring on Nov 20th and 90 days since i have applied is over on 17 of Nov. So I have only 3 days to get the appointment to get the INterim EAD. If somebody can write how can I get from that InfoPass since it is all automated and can only give away the appointments by itself. Since I am working on my EAD2. I have to renew by then, or get the interim 1 if it does not get approved. Though all b4 or much after me are already approved on EAD front. I have check and the processing date is beyond my ND and I already have launched a query thru 800-375-LATE. but the standard reply I think I am gonna get i.e. wait for 30-60 days.

So please tell me how to tackle this NAME Check situation since I think that would be my hurdle too as in 292641 CASE.

All my application including Advance parole and EAD and 7 th H1 b were only approved after name check was complete.
One was to expedite or find the status of name check is to tell the congressional person if they can contact the FBI laison, i cannot tell you if that helped or not as my name check was pending since 1-03 and cleared in 7-04, results of which were available to INS 1-2 weeks after.

-After 2 enquiries for name check when i called them the 3 rd time they faxed me a letter stating that name check is pending and I cannot be helped was the reason I told the congressional lady to find out what the reason for 18 month hold up was.

-Get your EAD as soon as you can.
