Do IO at POE always ask " How long did you stay out of the Us" .Becasuse I am overseas for about 7 months now and wont be returning until next two months. What if they do not ask me this question. and what if they do.. Share your experience ones who have stayed abroad long with REP.

i am also doing FTJ for my wife.. The NVC has asked me to submit BC /Police Cert and other civil docs with DS230 to their office and then after sucessful submission of docs they will forward the case to ISlamabad,pakistan embassy for interview but this wont happen until PD...
No need to. When you fill out DS230 for the consulate. Add the baby`s name to it. and take the birth certificate to the interview. I am in the same situation but my 824 is still not approved .email me at shazyamin@gmail.com if you have any questions.

I physically sent papers to ISb consulate but after 2 months they sent me a reply on my wifes address in pakistan that we have to wait for 824 to be approved then the case will go to nvc and then the nvc will send papers to isb conusulate
