I spoke with our firm's immigration lawyer a few days ago and I asked whether she intends to file for the 140&485 simultaneously. She mentioned that the concurrent filing is not done any more. I will have to wait for the 140 approval first before filing for 485. Is this true? This worries...

I don't know if they do for certain, but I don't think they would hesitate if you're an asset to the firm. PWC is a HUGE firm, hence the expenses are sky high and GC processing is a drop in the bucket for them. The only problem there, like javaguy mentioned, is that the timeline and patience...

Yah Man! ;) I think you would be still be in the backlog because your still a citizen of India. Maybe someone can point you to language that says "native country", which will help.
