I urgently need advise for my cousin. He is 35 years old and has a 11 year old daughter and is in India. His wife just passed away due to a freak accident in India. His wife's brother isUS citizen and lives in US. He has gone to India for her funeral arrangements. Her brother had applied for US...
I was able to register the case online today and the receipt number can be resolved. it says the standard language that its taking between 30-90 days to process this application.
when i called the 800 number, they were not able to find the application by the receipt number. same reason why i could not add it to my portfolio online. they transfered me to some other person who has 'more access' and they were able to locate my case. they said it was fine where its (Natl...
the ead application is for my spouse and i am the primary applicant for 485...am already approved. my 485 was employment based.
when i filed 765 online...i answered the questions as asked...i selected 'dallas service center' indicating where my 485 is pending. it automatically gave me a 'msc'...
The link for the forms is http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/index.htm
and in the 'where to file' column it says:
NOTE: Effective 4/1/06, the filing address for Form I-765 has changed.
The Missouri mailing address was provided to me after I e-filed the EAD indicating where to...
Hi,
I e-filed my renewal application on 4/2/06 for EAD. I am in Texas service center but got a case number starting with 'MSC'....confusing why I did not get a 'SRC'. Anyone know if something has changed recently process-wise? or did I make an incorrect selection somewhere on the form that...
My EAD renewal is coming up at TSC. Can anyone share their reent experience with TSC as to which one is faster for renewals - paper file or efile?
My current EAD was efiled and was received within 60 days of filing.
Also, I have been reading threads on the forum that USCIS is advising...
i dont know why you would have to leave the US. EAD is authorization to work in US. If you are here based on a pending 485 (AOS) application, you will still be in status if you stay in the US.
If your EAD renewal approval does not come in time, you are not authorized to work. SO you may have...
looks like ur expiry date has already passed. SO I would do it immediately if you are already using your EAD or have plans to travel outside the US. In case you meant 5/10/2006, I would apply within 90 days of that date (like 2/10/06). At most service centers, its taking about 30 days for these...
Hi,
I just noticed that in my spouse's AP application, I put my A# (primary) instead of hers. She got the AP approved about 4 months ago and also used it to travel outside US and use AP to re-enter US. Do I still need to notify USCIS of the error on the application form or forget abt it...
tscwait485,
congrats and good luck...i hope u get ur approval soon. ur dates and case details are very similar to mine (see sig.) and i got my approval in 1/05. hope this is it for u.
GCChahiye,
get the visa! am telling from first hand exp. I was flying into Paris and had similar situation as you. had h1 797 approval paper but not stamped in PP and was planning to getting it done in India. i was not allowed to board the flight. i cant imagine UK rules being too different...
thanks for the response. i understand that the h-1 would be invalidated when EAD was used. but would the person be considered out of status? and more importantly, would this be an issue at the time of 485 approval?
anyone has similar experience?
thanks.
Hi,
if a person has both an EAD and H1, can they continue to work for the H1 company A and also work for company B on EAD and draw two salaries? or would they be considered out of status and could possible create a problem at the time of GC approval (485)?
this is a short term deal as...
Ellada,
Mine is a similar case. pl. see signature below. my approval was 1/20/05 and my wife's case is still pending.
i agree with what most others responded in this thread. i will caution you on one item. if you think your husband will need to travel outside the country (normal or...
