EB3 approval -- help

I received a email say
This case has been approved. On July 29, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may .....

I am a EB3, is this real an approval ???
I just did a FP on 27. I think this may be a screw up message for FP resault. And the worse thing is , I booked the ticket to go abroad. on Aug 10.

If in case this is an approval, is it possible that I still use AP to go abroad ???? there is no time for me to do passport stamp issue... Any suggestions ??

Due to your PD, you are not affected by retrogression. So this approval might be real. Did you do a FP code 3 or 1? If 3, you should get your card, but the message instead of approval would say "a card is ordered for you".
Try to get an infopass appointment (usuall it gives you a date two weeks from the date you book), but once you get your approval, go to the USCIS office with your flight ticket and reason it out.
Your are not supposed to travel only if you get your approval in hand (and not online approval). Since USCIS usually quoates 14 days for receiving approval notices, you need not get your approval notice until Aug 12th. (i.e.) if you do not check your online status, you might not known your approval until a Aug 12th, so you might left the country with the thought that you did not get approved.
But typically you would get your approval notices with 3-7 days. Best try to get your stamp showing your international travel.

PD does not matter when EB3 is unavailable, your case is retrogressed.

One possibility is that your case is EB2 and you do not know that.
Otherwise it may be a service centre mistake. Try to take an infopass appointment. If you get it before your expected trave date, good. Otherwise go to local USCIS office and show them that you plan to travel on 10tth and they may allow you. You will get you approval notice in 4 - 7 days.
 
I am sure I am an EB3. It shows on the I140.
hopeful I receive the notice in mid of next week.
Any one know, at the POE, when I show the AP to the inspector, he will go to computer to verify it ? or just take a look and ask questions? then let me go.

A friend of mine recently went to india using AP, and just a week before he got the email saying that his I-485 was approved....but he didn't get the approval notice in the mail for more than a week...........I am sure you won't be having any trouble to use the AP.

btw, could you share with us the procedure to get the 2nd FP expedited?

Congrats on your approval. If you are indeed EB3 then this approval is truly amazing because USCIS is not supposed to be approving any EB3 case till October. As for your AP question if your case gets approved while you are out of the country then they let you in on the AP without any problems. That is what I have heard.

:confused: The LUD changed into Aug 1 , 2005. But the message is the same as before.
Don't know what's going on there.

Congratulations!!! Its a miracle if it is indeed an EB3 case.

Did your attorney contact TSC for 2nd FP request ? How come TSC officer called your attorney about expired FP ?

I'm curious as my FP has expired and my attorney has advised me not to do anything until either we hear from TSC or my ND is 30 days past their 485 processing date.

Congratulations!!! It is truly a miracle. Why don't you call TSC 1800# and ask about your case to see what they tell you. I know about the retrogression, and I'm affected by it, but your case gives me a little hope, maybe theres a miracle waiting for me too!!!!
I hope you get notice very soon. I got EAD card, after online message approval in just 4 days.

congrats and good luck...i hope u get ur approval soon. ur dates and case details are very similar to mine (see sig.) and i got my approval in 1/05. hope this is it for u.
