I have travelled the same route same airline last month and if you have AP or a valid visa stamped on your passport then you dont need a transit visa.

Looks like the info i received from air india seems mis leading.... Can some one tell me if we need a transit visa while travellign thru frankfurt. I will be going via paris and coming back via frankfurt.

I am doing some research on this because even we are travelling on AP in may. So, what i found is if you are going by airindia and thru frankfurt or paris then you do not need transit visa while travelling on AP but if you are going thru london / amsterdam you need a transit visa...

I was in the same situation. But for me i got my EAD in time. You need to have a valid EAD to work. For you to work your employer files a I-9 which needs the info that is on the EAD card. And with out a valid I9 your employer cannot run payroll. (atleast this is what i got from my employer.)

I think you need to contact your attorney about this. I had a friend of mine his wife used to shuttle between H4 and EAD without any problems. And ofcourse they got their GC approved earlier this year.

are you sure about the duplicate copy can be asked. I had exact same situation for my wife. But what we were told is that there is no way of re-issuing a duplicate. And so they said we have to apply again. And i had to apply again for her. so i would not take chance on that front. There is no...
