Hi:

Did my finger pring (code 1) on June 1, 2006. Still waiting. PD is current and I-485 is filed two babies (3 1/2 years) ago.

Will I get the welcome email, if my case is processed by the local district office? I want my welcome email. :(

I am jipped. I did not get the welcome email.

My case is finally approved. I did not get the welcome email from the national center. Instead, I got a I-181 notice in hard copy. I believe this is what people called the welcome notice. I-181 is the process for making the actual "green" card.

According to my "green" card, my case is approved on 06/06/06. However, I did not get my welcome notice until June 28. I did get the actual card on July 3.

maybe it is because your approval date is kinda evil date to some CIS workers.

Yeah I would return my greencard due to approval date 06/06/06. Ask them to get a different date. And no number '13' please.

Congrats.
