My I-485 was filed in Oct 2002. I just got my 4th EAD. I don't see any (Te) marked below my name. However, my LUD has not changed after my 2nd FP Code 1 about 6 weeks ago. What number did you call to talk to the Customer Service?

It depends on where the cut is on the finger. If its on the top edge of the finger you might be okay. When you go for your FP, they will tell you if you can get FP'd with a cut or not.

I had my FP done two weeks ago and my LUD has not changed either. I called FBI and the lady told me that INS related FPs are processed the same day and the results are sent in teh same day. I haven't had a chance to call BCIS yet.

I had Code 2 done too. But since my question was specifically pertaining to Code 1, I didn't think it was necessary to mention Code 2.

You cannot efile I-485. What I meant is that you can only make a biometric or FP appt if you have efiled your application. Just hang in there. I am sure you will get an appt letter soon.

I just got my new EAD and its valid from the date it was approved and not the date that my previous EAD expires, which is in June 06.

I was just refuting what you said earlier that the 1st and 2nd EADs get approved faster than the latter ones. I never tell anyone when to file EAD. Everyone in this forum is mature enough to figure out that for themselves.

Ghebauer, I am with NSC and. don't know much about application processing at VSC, my 3rd EAD was approved in about 3 weeks and my current EAD renewal was also approved in 3 weeks. My first two EADs took over 2 months.

Your 485 LUD doesn't change with EAD approval. I am not sure from where you got that info but its wrong.

You don't need an infopass appt to schedule your biometrics. ASC is Appplication Support Center. You call the service center 1-800 number on your efile EAD confirmation receipt and sechedule an appt.

greatgc, At the end of the efile process, you will get a pdf copy of the EAD with a barcode, that's the confirmation notice. It will say confirmation notice on the top. You are supposed to take this form when you go for your biometrics.
