Just came back from the infopass appointment. The officer looked up on her computer and said that my name check was cleared and unless I used aliases (which I don't), this is not an issue. In fact, she said that the system shows that my case is waiting for adjudication and that only happens when...
My apologies for giving out "wrong" or uninformed answers. Actually I did not realize that I was in Nebraska forums...must've found this topic through search. My case has been transferred to TSC from VSC and tens of cases have been approved since June 1st whose files were transferred around the...
I have an infopass appointment for tomorrow morning. Let's see if I can get any positive news from it.
I agree the TSC reps are usually dumb. You need to call 5 times on 5 different dates and talk to 5 different CSRs and maybe then you can get a sense of what is the reality ;)
Please post here if you had an APPROVAL or LUD activity since the last FP, even after being told by either TSC or FBI that NC or Security Check is pending. I am trying to get a sense of how significant and/or reliable this information is.
Sorry, it didn't work for you. It may depend on the CSR since I got my name check status by trying this process.
I am just hoping this pending name check is just a matter of few days, originating from the last FP (#2) rather than something which was sent by USCIS years ago! Fingers crossed!
The only information I have is from the June Visa Bulletin which says that PDs are going to advance FURTHER in the coming months.
I think these guys had a lot of visa numbers but royally screwed up these last 2 years by grossly underestimating the visa numbers or overestimating the pending...
In my case I explicitly asked about FP but before ending the call I used these exact words "Can you please tell me if anything else is pending related to my case?" The rep almost seemed reluctant to tell me the truth but she did after a moment's hesitation and blurted out that my name check was...
One very quick way to figure out if name check is TRULY pending is to call FBI. There is no wait time at all and the reps are generally friendly. My experience is posted here: http://www.shorttext.com/i4cbn
If someone calls, let me know how it went so that I can update the instructions if there...
Call FBI at 304 625 2000. Tell them you are calling about checking the status of your "fingerprinting" for immigration purposes. The person may transfer you to another dept. Give them your name, d-o-b and A#. Once he/she tells you when the fingerprinting results were sent back to USCIS, ask...
I just found out from FBI that my name check is pending. What can I do now? Anyone out there who was able to successfully get this expedited? Please share your experiences, both successes and continuing efforts so that I can gain and learn from it.
I am afraid retrogression may strike again...
Can someone who is good with spreadsheets, put these dates into one and analyze it for the good of all of us:) Maybe a clearer trend can appear if its represented graphically; since this list is becoming bigger by the day.
