Its good that my theory is not 100% working. Even though many people with earliar transfer date(llike 03/02/2007) were got/getting approved. But one chinese guy got approved with transfer date 03/27/2007.

I feel this is indeed good that this brings the hope for people like me that we could get our approval any time soon.

As many poeple in India know that June is month full of rains. I think this month we will have rain of GCs......

I totally agree with you. Based on update I got from Congressman from TSC , I think " Cases are transfered from VSC to TSC based on RD. Then TSC entered only transfer cases into their system based on RD and until this time either they have decided to eneter cases until RD 2004 or they have finished entering cases until RD 2004."
My case was transfered on March 7th which has RD if Jan 3, 2005 .
Update I got from Congressman is :
"Currently our office has received all the A files for this family; however, the Eastern Service still shows to be ownership of the electronic files and are not showing up on our system yet of being transferred.
They have received 20,000 I-485 applications and need time to add them into their own system. "

But cases filed on TSC have separate line since I have seen approval of direct TSC cases of RD 2005 .

gb04, U are also not far from the approval.
IND77, I think u r case might have been full transfered to TSC as there was one more case in this situation i think abc?????? and he got his approval. Also u r s Eb3/2005 so it might be couple of weeks for ur turn. But all my predictions are careful observation and trending of the approvals here. Not 100% reliable
 
va_lc_case the great fortune teller, what about me? I'm thinking that I need to quit this obsessive compusive status checking and come back after a week.

U r ahead of me in the queue. But as you said u might need to wait for a week or two. The pace at they are approving it may be soooner than that.

Below are my case details:

I talked to a representative at TSC on Tuesady (June 5, 2007) and she said that one of their system shows that my case was transferred to TSC and another one shows that it is at VSC. Basically they don't know where my file is currently.

She took my contact number and said that she will locate my file and give me a call in a couple of days.

I 485 EB3 to EB2 (Priority Date: 05/05/2003) RD: 11/07/2003
I 140 (EB2) AD: 02/01/2007 (by NSC)
I 140 (EB3) AD: 01/09/2004
1st FP: October 2004
Transferred from VSC to TSC on 03/15/2007; LUD: 03/16/2007

What are my chances of being approved?

I have no clue abt my name check result. I have spoken to TSC several times but none of them gave any satisfactory information.

I have called TSC yesterday and the rep (might be an IO) told me that they are still downloading results from FBI for FPs of May. Although they get the results from FBI next day after the FP, they still wait for some more results of security/background checks before they assign the case to an officer. She explained this when I asked her why my case is not touched when FP results are received by USCIS.

Finally, what she told me is, if all securiy checks are done, case gets assigned to an officer based on transfer date. But she did not tell me about my name check status, she said she did not have access to look into it.

So, if your theory is correct, mine and MA_LABOR should see LUDs around same time..we both have similar transfer dates and LUDs.

What do u say?

lpd and GIVEMEMYGC. Should be pretty close to the approvals based on the notice Date on the I485.

I am not sure why the hell these IOs delayed looking at the EB2 cases. I think we saw one case EB2 queue. So stay tuned for the approvalssss.
Just matter of few days.,......... weeeks..... months(if we drown into Retrgogression Ocean).

My predictions were mainly for transfered cases.

As your are RFE cases, meaning your cases are already with some Immigration Officers and it is upto their ability to aprrove u r cases/those lazy people should should decide your GC fate.

But try to ask for the Congressman/Senators help in case i you have time.

My 140 and 485 were filed concurrently filed and I got the RFEs for I140 (for W2-company tax papers) and 485(for EVL) same time my company responded to them before the retrogression. My 140 is approved in Jan 06 and 485 is not approved due to retrogression. I'm wondering if the same officer in VSC who is looking into my RFE, why my case is moved to TSC?

Anyway, I want to take infopass and see what they speak about the case.

I am bit confused with your case as why the heck they trasnfered your case. VSC kept most of the RFE cases and send some of them to TSC. I think you should explain this to Your senator/congressman and ask them to get more information. That would speed up process.

But again USCIS is very consistant in its in-consistancy.
This is I like very much in USCIS poloclies.........:(P-

I got the same doubt when I saw the transfer email in March, but after seeing the trend, I felt some relief thinking that my case might have been pre-adjudicated after the 485 RFE response and transfered to TSC, but as you said USCIS is very consistant in its in-consistancy.. they may transfer it back to VSC if they learn if this is a mistake.

It was said in jest va_lc_case. You are doing a good job of making educated guesses and giving reassurance to all of us who are nervously anticipating some positive news. Don't stop doing it if you think anyone is making fun of you.

Your analysis is more valuable to us than you can think. Its at least based on a cold clear theory and not on "stars".

Hello va lc case,

I am kicking myself in the ass...i had originally got FP notice code 1 for May 12 and landed at ASC, on may 2 and the lady offered to do early fp for me and wife - had to catch a plane and the wait lines was too long and asked for it to be post-poned. I did my fp on June 1.

I am seeing a lot of cases with May2-May12 FP date alongwith your RD-PD combination theory...I saw an approval with my same PD-RD-FP combination today(june 7 approval thread! jun 28 2002 PD + jun 24 2004 RD + may 12 2007 FP)...i called uscis last week and even went to an infopass on tuesday(june5) and learnt that my case wasnt even on an officers desk...the infopass officer just wdnt say anything...

So, applying the FP date theory as well, we can say people with May 18 FP date from last month can start seeing approvals in the current and following week...how about that?
