My Theory of Approvals based on Transfer dates working

Looks like on March 15, They transfered thousands of cases. I am one of them. So guesses may not yeild to truth. So be patient and we will get GC some time this year.

Thats we are doing for so long, when it comes to "Approval" there is no hard and fast rule. It is just your time and luck. I disbelieve in PD-Based processing. Those who got cleared (SC), got first. I filed with my company colleaque with exactly same PD, RD but he was in EB3, he got approval in May 2005 and I am still patient.

March (1-15) 2007, there are 15 days only. To consume all available visa numbers USCIS needs only 16 hours of work on the cases to process. Then again the wait game starts.

- POJ calls / Service Request
- Infopass
- Senator, First Lady
- AILA
- WOM

Anything ... now it is too late for even USCIS / FBI to come up with an excuse ...

I love your theory and I hope it proves to be true. Since you mentioned the LUD pattern of the cases, I wonder if your theory is applicable to the ones like myself who didn't get any LUDs after FP? What do you think will become of them?

PS. Just realized that you didn't seem to get the LUD changed after FP either.

No, I think you need to be in the jursidiction to contact the congressman. But they did not ask for the proff of address.

Try giving the local address(phoenix). They might get the information from USCIS.

I think its applicable to all the Transfered cases. See most of the people are posting that their NC is cleared. I think this is very good sign.

I dont like the rate at the approvals are coming, But still better that we are seeing steedy flow of approvals.

And they're not going to approve every eligible person on June 1st or even in the month of June. My PD became current on May 1st and I'm still not approved yet. I expect most of the transferred cases will have to wait until at least 4 months after the transfer date (i.e July).

Have you contacted USCIS after May 1 to initiate a SR? Also was the LUD that you gopt on your case after the FP2?

Interesting my FP2 was code 1 and PD is July'02. No LUDs after FP2. So, going by the ND theory, there is a chance our cases havent been assigned to an officer yet.

I called TSC yday and spoke to an agent who said my FP has expired. I tried to explain to her that I got my FP2 in the morning and ideally, she should be seeing my FP2 - she claimed to not see them and gave a 24-72hr window for the case to be updated...something aint smell right...have you called USCIS after your FP2 on May12 and any responses?

My case is very similar to your with same timeline of I-485 filing, exact dates of FP2 (although the notice was for 5/10 but I did it on 5/02 but all LUDs are same as yours with last one being on 5/15)

The only difference is mine is EB2. Lets see if approval comes around the same time. When is it going to end?

Yes, I called them in the middle of May to initiate the SR. It wasn't of any use, as I got a letter saying the same thing on the web site (that the case was transferred to TSC). The letter came from VSC, even though I told the woman my case got transferred to TSC. So I don't think TSC knows anything about the SR.

Anyway, I've noticed that the people who got approved in May did their last FP in March or earlier. Maybe it's just that it normally takes them at least a couple of months after the FP to finish up everything else related to the case. So I'll wait until sometime next month (2 months after the FP) and call Texas directly if it hasn't been approved by then.

About the LUDs - I got one on the same day of the fingerprinting, and the latest one a few days after.

It's not just a matter of doing the fingerprints; they have to be cross-checked by the FBI. Don't expect the USCIS to have the fingerprint stuff fully updated in less than a week.

Its good that my theory is not 100% working. Even though many people with earliar transfer date(llike 03/02/2007) were got/getting approved. But one chinese guy got approved with transfer date 03/27/2007.

I feel this is indeed good that this brings the hope for people like me that we could get our approval any time soon.

As many poeple in India know that June is month full of rains. I think this month we will have rain of GCs......

My theory is working 99% percent. Except one chinese guy all the cases are getting approval based on the transfered date. And the transfer date is based on the Notice date and The EB2/3 category....
Anyone challenges this theory. Please post u r experiance.............

I'm starting to subscribe to your theory. The Chinese gentleman was perhaps an anomaly, albeit, a lucky one. Good for him. That said, our dates are pretty close, including the transfer dates. Both our name checks are in the clear, so based on your theory, when do you postulate that we'd be reaching the promised land? There are quite a few other folks with dates close to ours. I remember seeing on some thread that RunningSloth has got recent LUDs. RunningSloth, you might be in line for some good news pretty soon bud.

Still waiting for approval. Once when i called tsc i was told my NC has cleared.
No LUD after 3/11/07. See details in signature...

Your theory regarding transfer date is interesting. Mine got transferred to TSC from VSC on March 07. When can I expect approvals…. Any guess
 
Great theory. My last FP was in May 5th and I guess I should wait till sometime in July to see any movement on my case
