I am sponsoring my parents and on the DS-156 vias application form there is a question to state if you have anybody residing in US, and on what status. What should I have them fill in as my status I guess it should be Pending Adjustment of Status or Pending I-485 :confused:

Sent email in Jan no response yet. Called FBI front desk yesterday and they say right now they are responding to emails from November

Select the option saying you dont know your EAC. I am from Dec 2003 and am still witing for security clearance. Havent seen too many Dec2003 cases approved on this board.

Followed the instructions to call FBI and they say they give out information only by Emails and currently they are replying to emails recieved in November.

I managed to get to VSC. The officer told me that they are waiting for Background Check on my case and it should go for adjudication as soon as the check is complete :( :mad: He said all i can do is be patient as the checks are taking quite long nowadays. I had emailed FBI in January...

When I try this it says due to temporary problems this case can not be tracked and gives no more options. How do i get over this

I got the same response. Seems like its related to FBI but I am not so sure

I moved in Dec and changed my address with Ar-11 and by calling the Service Centre. I got a confirmation letter from USCIS Vermont confirming the address change. Since then I cannot track my case via phone.

I emailed FBI in Jan how long before I will get an reply. have opened an Status inquiry with VSC no response from there either
