    Bill HR 3271

drav, I tihink it depends on where the congressperson is from. I think most GOP's would probably turn this bill down. In general, GOP's are not big fan of immigration. But hopefully, modreate GOP's, from more liberal states might want to support such bill (e.g. West coast states, NY.) We will...

Nice, probably need to get poeple to write to their congressperson and senators to support this bill. However, please remember that GOP holds majority in both house and senate, so I ma not so optimistic about this.

Question to All who Applied for I-485

Other option would be to get tos docs translated by a US embassy approved translator back home. That's what I did, I attached the translations with translator's sworn affidait for accuracy, plus a certification that the translator guy is acknowledged by US consulate/embassies there. I guess...

Contacting AILF - Class action law suit against USCIS

Agreed I think it is not their best interest to deny EB- I-485's just because they are p**d. 1)We actually paid FEES (remember many groups of applicants don't, and got higher priorities (e.g. asylum, TPS, correct me if I'm wrong, I am not sure of my facts...) 2) We actaully paid TAXES (many in...

    Mistake on I-485 form

DOn't think it's a serious problem though. I think this kind of error is quite common that a person with common sense should understand. You can fix it during stamping too. Correcting it now w/o RFE, might be as good as not notifying them at all, as the info is more likely to get ignored/ lost...

    Unbelievable

Isit? Is it only RFE people who see changes, or pretty much across the board???? Mine changed to 30-90 days (yeah right...!) But I got RFE, so I thought probably it means 30-90 days after RFE received. (Mine already >100 days after RFE), Yeah right! again!!! :(

    RFE received by BCIS yesterday.

It is somewhat true I know some colleagues who got approved past FP expiration without having to do 2nd FP. However, most people had to do 2nd FP though. I don't know if there are any conditions to get approved directly or via FP. My guess is just they do it randomly.

    Any SR Travelled using AP?

I did... I travelled home using AP earlier this year. My experience at the airport was uneventful. Showed my passport and AP. The officer only asked me where I went and why. Told him I went home for refreshing vacation. He smiled courteously, stamped my passport and AP, and told me "have a good...
