Other option would be to get tos docs translated by a US embassy approved translator back home. That's what I did, I attached the translations with translator's sworn affidait for accuracy, plus a certification that the translator guy is acknowledged by US consulate/embassies there. I guess...

DOn't think it's a serious problem though. I think this kind of error is quite common that a person with common sense should understand. You can fix it during stamping too. Correcting it now w/o RFE, might be as good as not notifying them at all, as the info is more likely to get ignored/ lost...

3rd EAD approved 9/17, AP still waiting. Applied early May, so it took ~3-4 mo. Got RFE for AP, saying my picture was not acceptable!?!?!? Same picture was OK for EAD. :rolleyes:

I did contact my senator last month And I just got a response last week saying that my case was received in Oct 01, while INS/BCIS/USCIS/whatever is currently working on cases received on Aug 22 '01. :mad:

It is somewhat true I know some colleagues who got approved past FP expiration without having to do 2nd FP. However, most people had to do 2nd FP though. I don't know if there are any conditions to get approved directly or via FP. My guess is just they do it randomly.

So... We, poor EB I-485-ers, have nothing to lose to sue BCIS anyways Iw we win, I will feel satisfied, if they choose to expedite my case, I'm gonna be happy too ... I am waiting for 24 months already. :D
