Sept '01 RD Case transferred to Detroit

RD - 9/28/01
ND - 10/28/01
1st FP - 3/3/02
2nd FP - 9/13/03
NO RFE.
Case transferred to Detroit office on 09/24/03.

Did anyone from Michigan had their case transferred from NSC to Detroit recently. Will you guys please post your experience, i.e transfer date, how long it takes for the Detroit office to schedule the interview? please share your experience when you get a chance.

almost all the time it gets tranferred tot he local office when u marry after i-485. it is a good thing in one way as u will get an interview and u get the approval on the same day.

Yes. both. I got married 2 months after applying my I485. I had a job change after 7 months.
