xiu_123, I had 3 original AP's and they stamped one and gave me all the 3 back ( i was under the assumption that they had taken a copy, but that was not the case when i checked up after you posted your question ).

No problem, using AP. Was out in 5 minutes, they stamp your passport and the AP and then you are out on your way. Everybody including staff at transit airports know about AP, so you should not have a problem. My experience was during the week of Christmas when i came back from my vacation...

I spoke with my attorney earlier this week and was told the same. They have temporarily suspended adjudication. My attorney did not know when they would resume again except that they would have to. I am wondering whether CP cases are still getting adjudicated. A collegue of mine just got back...

grinfo and Chine, July 20th is bad too. But, atleast all of us are now in the same boat with RFE's. grinfo, my RFE was issued on Oct 10th, my attorney did not receive it till about Oct 22nd. Considering that yours was issued just before thanksgiving, it should probably take a bit longer.

Not on Rupnet and not from what we know. What i gather from your other post is that the freeze is for 2 weeks(unless you are speculating). We have not seen approvals from NOV 22nd, if i am not mistaken. Then we should start seeing approvals again staring the week of December 9th (hopefully).

I guess not, INS has temporarily stopped approving applications. I guess the best way for us is to look at rupnet and verify whether people have got approvals after Nov 22nd, RFE's yes, updated RUPNET yes, but no approvals.

RFE Received Date My RFE Received Date : 10/29/2002. Assumed that i would get an approval within a month. Did call up an officer 3rd week of November and the officer could not give me any information except the standard info that the case was pending.

GivemeGCINS, Maan, that is really scary. My RD is July 2001, my RFE was received my NSC on Oct 29, 2002, i was hoping for an approval in 3 weeks, that did not happen. I guess if you are waiting for nearly 4 months, it does not give us other guys much hope. I wish you and the rest of us...

Venkat_madhu, It used to take about 3-4 weeks to get it stamped if you send it by mail to their office. This was about 2 years back when i got it stamped this way.

Pears, It is interesting that they gave the same date to both you and your wife. Are they(NSC) finally getting their act together ? I am hoping they can give us all a good thanksgiving present. But, knowing NSC we can only hope for the best.

Spoke to IIo Spoke to IIO today. I was told that my file was pending (whatever that means..). Thats about it. There is no point calling up. But, sometimes you feel that they might look at the file incase you call them. Anyways... back to waiting i guess...
