Vermont is the only processing center where there has been some movement after "the lift".
No approvals have been reported in other centers since November 20, 2002.
Can someone run a script at the INS status site to check if these approvals are true?
The one for RD 10/13/01 should be LIN-02-030-XXXXX or LIN-02-031-XXXXX
The one for RD 10/18/01 should be LIN-02-035-XXXXX
Let’s find out if it is true.
Yeah, that means that they have not moved forward in the last 3 months!!!
Imagine what would happen to you if you tell your boss you're taking a 3-month vacation!!!
Nice government job!
The way immigration is handled in this country is a horrible JOKE!!!

I went to the AILA website (www.aila.org) and could not find anything...

Just make sure you always have a valid EAD.
It's safe to start the renewal of your EAD 6 months prior to...
Rastamandrum,
congrats on your RFE.
However, they have never stopped issuing RFEs.
The freeze is on APPROVALS!!!
Approvals are what we so eagerly wanna see.
Friends,
The Vermont Service Center has been approving I-485s cases again.
NSC, just for a change, seems to be the dum kid.
Let's watch closely what's going on.
If we don't see any move by Monday, let's call the INS and ask for the specific question: what about NSC?
Also bug your...
Jack,
I believe it's a matter of days until we start seeing NSC approving I-485s.
It seems like Vermont has started approvals again.
It's early to say, let's see the trend in the next week or so...
