    I have done both. Did not see any benefit to e-filing. If you e-file, you'd be undergoing extra steps(like visit USCIS for an index Finger Print as opposed to full set of FP's for 485). Process timeframes for both e-file and manual depend on the various criteria like load etc at the time...
