Tax Return Form for I-485 approved ?

Before I-485 approved, guess most people here took 1040NR to file tax return;
after I-485 approved, should we use 1040NR or 1040 ?

Even before the I-485 approval, you can still use 1040 or 1040A or 1040EZ. The IRS defination for Resident Alien for tax purpose is different from one for immigration purpose.

You are still using 1040NR, when your 485 got approved? You are so lucky! Because most of us already long pass the mark line of using 1040NR. We were "Permanent resident for tax purpose" before 485 approval and after staying in this country for more than 5 years.

You can use any one among 1040EZ, 1040, 1040A, depends on how complex your tax is.
