:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Hey, my longGC buddy, I have a question for you. When you first came to this forum, what made you to pick the name longGC? Don't you feel somehow that was a precursor of a long bumpy GC journey? :p Just like my name - Safari. :D :D Although comparing with your long painful endurance, mine is nothing yet. Your perseverance is alwasy inpiring and thus admired by all the members here. But with TSC, I think I'd better change my ID to something like Excursion, so TSC might treat me better. ;) ;) :D
 
I thought about the same thing. I have seen cases with 04/02 and 05/02 RD approved the last couple days, not jealous at all, ok, maybe a teeny tiny bit. I have been checking my status 10 times a day, nothing, I am thinking my case might be in the wrong hands. Since my LUD was changed to 06/03/04, I assumes it was assigned to an officer, now I think it might be an officer who is on vacation for 1 month. I have promise myself, if I don't get the greencard this year, I am selling my house, packing my bag and going back home.

I think the name he chose probably reflected the state of Immigration situation at that time (when he chose the name).

IF name really can foretell your future path. What about FreeMind another 01 filer who got approved today?

Psychic powers or not, LongGC (and several others) has been contributing to this forum tremendously.

I think LongGC should take a short ( no long one's here please) break to celebrate with the party of his life and be back to help others with his insights. At least until a smart ShortGC comes along to help out the forum.

You are right. I had chosen this name because of the long delay in processing of GC in those days. It is none the less now and in fact the delay is more.

I had created this ID in 2000. Forum had some changes and forced everyone to have new IDs in May 2002 but I stuck to the old one.

if longGC picked fastGC, immediateGC, flashGC or instantGC on may 2002, he may get the card two years ago :rolleyes:
