It would be very tough financially. Her condition might worsen, she might require trips to ER, who knows what might happen. I don't want to take the risk. :(

    List of documents for interview.

This is asylum-based naturalization application. The interview notice asks to bring only my green card and all passports. No tax transcrips, no other proofs of anything. Is this the current procedure or am I missing something? Thanks!

mailed my n-400 two weeks ago, 5/13 - still no receipt, check not cashed

Called USCIS, they said processing can take up to a month and asked to call back after 6/13 (1 month after the mail date). Has something like this ever happen to anyone? Why does it take so long? My husband's N-400 was processed within days.

    request for evidence

now that you asked, I think it was the FP letter that was dated on 10/18. Then, in November or December I got the YL. Shouldn't be the case transferred to the local office at this point? Why it is not shown online?

    request for evidence

Is Request for Evidence = Yellow Letter? My online status said that on 10/18/2010 they mailed a notice requesting additional info. I only recall receiving a Yellow Letter requesting that I bring my DL to the interview. My FP are done at this point. No other communication. Should I worry?

    Cop

Has anyone gone to their COP during the 5-yr waiting period with a green card and was questioned about it during their citizenship interview? I have gone twice (sick mother) and wonder if I will need to explain that.

    Supporting Documentation

Minsk, Spasibo! Did you send them the front view photos or the head 3/4 turned? The paper application said it should be 3/4 turned with right ear visible; however, the photo place people showed me a memo dated 2004 issued by INS and stating that all photos should be directly facing the camera.
