It would be very tough financially. Her condition might worsen, she might require trips to ER, who knows what might happen. I don't want to take the risk. :(
I am a U.S. citizen and would like submit a form I-130 and try to bring my mother to the U.S.. She is legally an invalid, can barely move around and needs to be in a wheelchair. Will she be able to apply for any sort of assitance once here? She is 63 years old.
This is asylum-based naturalization application. The interview notice asks to bring only my green card and all passports. No tax transcrips, no other proofs of anything. Is this the current procedure or am I missing something?
Thanks!
Called USCIS, they said processing can take up to a month and asked to call back after 6/13 (1 month after the mail date). Has something like this ever happen to anyone? Why does it take so long? My husband's N-400 was processed within days.

I am in the process of filling out N-400 and don't know how to answer two question about deportation proceeding (if I have ever been ordered deported and if I applied for relief from deportation).

Should I list my trips on the application form without any explanation and explain at interview or explain on the application? Will I be interviewed no matter what or they can decide my case without the interview?

Minsk,
Spasibo! Did you send them the front view photos or the head 3/4 turned? The paper application said it should be 3/4 turned with right ear visible; however, the photo place people showed me a memo dated 2004 issued by INS and stating that all photos should be directly facing the camera.
