My petition was received at NSC a day before yours and I got my approval about two weeks back....so your's would be on its way anytime now......:o

My I-485 is still pending. No, I never tried calling USCIS for that. I guess its a waste of time. The processing times currently on display at the USCIS website mention July 02, 2007 as the processing date for Employment-based I-485s. So, my case is clearly out of their processing range. I know...

Best fo luck for your EB-1B Yes, there seems to be pilot program operational at TSC. Lately, many filers with current dates (mostly EB1s but some EB2s as well) have seen approval of their I-140 as well as I-485 on either the same day or within a few days of each other. Noone is really sure...

I think your attorney did a good job. Lets hope for the best. My best wishes for you. I am sure your approval is on the way. As you might recall I just had to furnish my original hiring letter and the copy of employee manual which I did. I guess since there was not much to see in my RFE...

GC-Hopes has provided link to one such template. I think the letter covers all the points. In my case I had several letters and they ranged from half page long to about one and half pages long. The longer ones were those where the editor-in-chief wrote in detail about his own qaulifications...

I agree... we can all sympathize with you, but you have to feed us with some background on your qualifications, documents furnished, publications, citations, awards etc. also, wait for the actual letter and see what was found lacking in your packet. I hope your lawyer was thorough in...

I second the opinion of GC-Hopes. Its a good idea to get letters from the Editors. In my case I obtained letters from Editor-in-chief/Senior Editors of 4 journals for whom I reviewed manuscripts. Also, I printed out the relevant web-page of 2 journals - one showed me as an associate editor...

Eb1b yytd, why don't you explore the possibility of filing through your University - EB1B I am sure you would have absolutely no problems getting through and, being EB1, you can expect a fast decision !

yes, my response to RFE was received at NSC on Aug 19 and today (Aug 25)it was approved !!!:D
