Hello minicooper,
GCdeewana posted his case on the same issue.
Similarly LUD changed several times when he responded to NOID and it has been more than 4 months he hasn't heard any thing.
It looks like since our PD's are not current they can't do much on our cases other than filing our...
Hello GCdeewana,
Thanks for sharing your case.
You haven't heard because your PD is not current ??
If yes then may be the same case for me.
Have you tried contacting USCIS??
Can you post your case details.
Thanks,

You are right Dude. Just curious and also nervous, nothing else.
Thought if I post the proceedings here sombody who had experienced the same would responsd with his/her experiences, so that I can get prepared for worst case scenario.
Just trying to guess if it is a good or bad sign when an...
Hello minicooper,
Looks like we both are in the same boat. After I have responded to NOID, LUD changed for my I-485 continuously for 4 days and again yesterday also.
But no message change. Since you have responded to NOID almost a month ago have you tried calling USCIS to find out what is...
My attorney responded to NOID on 04/19. Last week there were 4 LUD changes on my I-485. Is there any way I can find out what is happening on my case.
04/21 - RD
04/22 - No message
04/25 - No message
04/26 - No message
04/27 - No Message
Which is the better method to get the...
That is very good. Congrats.
I am still waiting. My attorney responded to NOID and haven't heard any thing on my case so far. But LUD chaned only on my I-485 continuously for 4 days after responding to NOID and then no change after that.
I am not sure what is going on.
And also my H1...
What I mean to say is take a permanent offer with a consulting firm.
Consulting firm means not every employee is on hourly basis. If it is well established one then you can find out that most of thier employees are permanent employees.
I know if it makes a big difference in pay package then...
Yes. Even if they are not aware of it if you educate them about it most of the emplpyers are ready to give the letter. When I was considering to use AC21 I contacted few companies. 3 out of 4 US employers are ready to give me the EVL as per USCIS requirements. And the company I am working...
Even if you send the AC21 papers proactively USCIS just ignores them.
I am not even sure those papers even go into our I-485 file.
And as usual they will issue the NOID or RFE based on the I-140 status.
At least that is what happened in my case.
But most of the lawyers advice people to...
If your recent I-140 LUD changed after you have appplied H1 extension that means your I-140 is still active. Also 3 yr extension is approved based on a valid I-140.
I am not a lawyer, it is just my wild guess.
I hope Ginnu or Real Canadian or UnitedNations would respond on this to give...
Once it becomes law to stop the labor substitutions then already applied substitution cases will not be affected. Is that correct.
It is only in future employers are not able to substitute somebody for an approved labor. Is that correct.
I think April 14th is only the end of commenting period. It would take some time before it becomes actual law. Isn't it ??? OR I am missing some thing.
Actually the idea is my employer is very big US firm and very reliable so I am sure they will have so many approved labors but they never...
Thanks Ginnu. By early next week my attorney is sending AC21 docmentation to USCIS. Hopefully after that I should hear some thing on my H1 and also my spouse's EAD. I will post the proceedings here.
Thanks a lot Ginnu.
Here are my details

I-485 RD: 09/2004
Changed the Job in 04/2005 and sent the AC21 papers to USCIS but it seems they didn't look into it and still sent me the NOID.
I-140 revoked...
I am posting the USCIS letter here...
I am just pasting here the core part of the NOID issued by USCIS, please read thru' first.
My question: If you look at the statment in bold letters doesn't this statement convey that my I-140 will be restored once I respond for the NOID and if USCIS...
The only time my I-140 LUD changed was when my previous employer revoked my I-140.
But yours may be because of different reason (like moving your case to different service center, just a guess).
Thanks,
VG
Hello All,
My I-485 is pending and my previous employer revoked my I-140. I am responding to NOID sent by USCIS as I am eligible under AC21. Since my current petition is based on labor substitution and I am not sure about my PD with the I-140 revoke and no attorney is able to answer correctly...
Yes immly after I got my spouse's EAD receipt LUD changed 2 days in a row for my I-485 and my spouse EAD. There was no LUD or message change
for I-140, it is still showing the same date (10/28/2005), in the same week (10/21/2005) my old employer revoked my I-140.
