That's interesting....I had my 3rd FP done , 2 months after the 2nd one, at new rochelle and they did go ahead and do my FP..

Posted my approval message on monday...01/12 and got my approval letter today...however spouse case not yet approved ... Any idea how long it takes for spouse's approval? Thanks in advance...!!

dont think so...you gotto have the notice ...they use the notice to link your fingerprints to your case...

parshu... You do need a transit visa..As long as you dont have a valid STAMPED visa you need a transit visa... Also if you have GC stamped but dont have the actual card...you still need the transit visa.....

RDMAR02.... Not sure of the exact dates... Rfe was generated sometime in first week of october... and the response was recevied by INS on the 22nd or 23 of OCT... Hope this helps!!!!

RD-dec19-01... If you dont have the physical card, you DO NEED the transit visa.. Also need transit visa when travelling on AP. IF you flying from NYC, kuwait airways has a direct flight NYC-KUWAIT-BOM... Tickets are cheap and transit visa not required..

my colleague had the same experience.. 2nd FP followed (4-6 weeks later.. ) by a RFE.. Maybe that's the new pattern??????

Guys...Thanks for your encouraging words.. sanrishi ... Online was not updated after the 2nd FP.... Infact it wasn't updated after the 1st FP either.... Status for my case till yesterday was "On March 20, 2002, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence...

According to the website...RFE generated for my 485 app..Jan02 case... Did my 2nd FP about 6-8 weeks....

online message not very reliable. Did my FP last march (2002) and online msg still says.. the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review. usually, after FP, changes to collected FP and resumed...
