According to the website...RFE generated for my 485 app..Jan02 case...
Did my 2nd FP about 6-8 weeks....
 
Reply to RFE ASAP, and approval is round the corner.
Gather all documents, anticipating diff types of RFE's and respond fast.Good Luck

Online was not updated after the 2nd FP....
Infact it wasn't updated after the 1st FP either....
Status for my case till yesterday was

"On March 20, 2002, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and are pending review. "

and its still the same for my wife's case
 
Mine is other way it seems

I recd an RFE for Paystubs, Emp letter, tax returns and my wife for Medical (was pregnant when we did first medical)

Now the big question is - I haven't heard anything on FP2 as my FP1 has expired. The day I was issued an RFE was after 16 months of my FP1. So what could be scenario:

1) I reply to RFE next week and the approve my case - Too optimistic

2) Reply to RFE, they issue FP2 immediately (or is being issued in parallel now by some other dept/system) and I just do that and get approval - more likely

3) Reply to RFE, wait and wait for FP2 and then do FP2 and then again some RFE blah blah - pessimistic

What are the chances based on your experiences.

my colleague had the same experience..

2nd FP followed (4-6 weeks later.. ) by a RFE..

Maybe that's the new pattern??????

get the RFE out ASAP and monitor the web site so tht you will be fr sure tht they have rx it
