Salary Difference
Bill1735,
My friend's case was he got laid off before 180 days and still his attorney managed to get the case successfully approved.
His salary was 10K below of what he got earlier when he filed for 485.

another way
Linsaw,
Maybe here's another way out for you - why dont you apply for your EAD renewal(based on the iEAD) rightaway and showing that as a pending EAD application you can still get another iEAD from the local office.
Atleast you save quite a lot of time and also will not be in a...
Doest make a big influence
Although salary differnce is a criteria - it doesnt really influence their decision - Like others here, I have this simple advise - use a competent attorney and the lower salary difference shouldnt really matter - there are few I know who have used AC21 with lower...
I dont think you will need a candian visa if you are not planning to go out of the airport and if you carry with you the onward tickets to Delhi. Plus your transit should not exceed 12 hours.
Yes! you certainly have to show your AP while departing from US and while re-entering the US...
whatagc,
You CANNOT work based on your online approval - You need to have a physical card. I suggest you do as per jaxen's advice. Check with the local and sub postoffice. Plus go to the local CIS office and get an iEAD. Also write to the CIS regarding the non-receipt of your card. And...
mimihu,
It is NOT necessary for you to file for EAD unless otherwise you need it.
But what I didnt understand from your posting was - why do you then need AP if you dont need EAD???
-MrCoolz
linsaw,
I suggest you apply for the renewal before 3 months of your existing EAD expiry date.
In the past in some cases, people have received the EAD(based of the application) even after they have gone to the local INS office and got the iEAD.
There should be nothing for you to worry...
Niti,
If your first (existing) AP is valid until March and if you will be back in the country before the last date valid in the AP, there should be no problem.

Good News
Cooldami,
First of all Congratulations!
Secondly, if your happiness you seemed to have forgotten the year you're living in:) - I guess its 2003 and not 2004 ?
Third - many of us here would appreciate if you let us know which State and city you're from and which Senator...
Here's what I'd do if I were in your situation -
Invest in your wife's/family member's name and stay as an employee in your partnership firm.
But remember like the earlier posting - you need to have atleast some(the more the better) financial transaction history of paying taxes, wages etc...
Sakrityayan
Hey Sankrityayan that was some food for thought!
Btw, I can understand your Moore's law - but guess what I am getting it by Nov04 - I know you might be smiling reading this, wondering if this is black magic- but just wait and watch - heheee!

RD:11/27/02
Thats right - its the INS fiscal year
For e.g my case RD is 11/27/02, but my case # is
LIN03045
So the fiscal year means the INS fiscal year.
Btw, anyone here can make a wild prediction when I could get my approval ? - June 04 or Nov 04???
thanks,
MrCoolz
Thats a good thought!
Paulclarke1,
The 'Devil's Arithmetic' you've come up with is certainly commendable, although it can still be refined quite a bit. Seriously why dont we suggest this to be presented to the NSC thro' Rajiv or some attorney?
As you've mentioned your case being Mar'02...
thanks
Thanks 4_485 for your inputs - I did carry my 485 receipts with me - but the officer never asked for them and I didnt show them - but I got worried when the line said that if you fail to present it to them, then your AOS gets abandoned.
Thukralk - I read it again - it still worries...
Hi all,

http://www.jackson-hertogs.com/jh/memos/8000.htm
It says that even if you have a valid H/L visa, if you have filed for...
