    I am a passive reader of your blog and forum for a long time and greatly respect your knowledge and helpful attitude, I received the RFE on 485 for both myself and my wife. Currently we have only received the the email and notice will be sent to my lawyer

    timeline: 04/07-02/09 - P Consulting (My GC Sponsor) : 03/2/09-03/10/09-H Consulting (applied for H1 Tranfer and didn't respond to RFE):3/11/09 04/10/09-Jobless: from 04/13/09- EAD with company E
    I have PERMANANT offer as s/w Dev with a big company in that I was planning to start from 5/4/2009, they are aware of the fact that they may have to give letter in support of my pending GC

    I am confused as to what should be my next steps:
    Can I still join them?
    What is the less risky option?
    Keep working with current company? (I haven't informed them of pending offer)
    I very much appreciate any help you can provide.

    Sir, I am with company ABC right now from Nov04. They did not pay my normal salary on many occasions. Like in 2005 it was 41,000. In 2006 it was 50,000. In 2007 it was again 41,000. In 2008 it was 51,000. Now it is my 9th year in US. Now because of the job market and all (I do not have a job right now) my employer is not willing to file my H1B renewal due in Second week of May09. He is asking me to go back. I have huge credit card debt. I do not know how to handle that. Should I walk away? Or complain about my backwages or just take it as it comes. My I140 is under AAO for appeal hence no EAD or anything. Thanks for your time

    i wonder if you can help answer this question, does having an applicant's child on finacial assistance affect once application for adjustment of status through marriage.

    I filed my I-485 with my wife and daughter. I & my daughter got EAD and my wife case not approved as there is mistake on check (for Fees) we sent another check but they replied quota is not available. We appele to special div. handling these type of cases and they replied the same quota not available. Now she is dependent on me. I have to file her h1 to make her on status or h4. Can we get her ead or not? What is the procedure for the same. Your help in this regards is highly appriciated.

    I had my citizenship interview last february 27th. I passed the test. Since i haven't received the oath letter. This now more than a month. I would like to know if it's normal to wait that long ? How long should i wait more to receive the oath invitation letter ? Is there anyboby in my situation ?

    Hello Mr. Rajiv I will like to ask you just one question I am a legal resident father of the usa can I bring back with me my 6 months old son born overseas and can he be a resident automatically ones he comes in the usa with me ? can you send me a link where I can find this law that can help me!!!

    right now I am in US as a student. my OPT is about to expire and I will be joining college shortly. I was recently selected for DV 2009. while filling out the required papers and sending them back, i had said that i would appear for the interview back in my home country and i had not filled out the form for change in status. since i am already here in the US, is it possible now that I appear for the interview here if in case my second letter comes.

    the other question is.......suppose i go to nepal and appear for the interview....will i have any problem......i have used my SSN only in OPT period at kroger, IHOP and at a watch retail store... will this pose as an obstacle..........i never had a problem with my status

    I am a green card holder but I want to apply in the Canadian University for PhD Program.So, will I get a re-entry pemit?I can maintain the Residency status by just coming to US after every 6 months and does it hamper getting of my citizenship ?please help me

    My wife's 6th year H1-B visa is expiring on November 1st,2009 and her employer is trying to apply for her PERM now. will she be able to apply for her 7th year extension once her Labor is approved or she has to wait till her Labor and I-140 is approved?or please let us know the other possibilities.

    Also I have added her in my labor application and I-140 too and my I-140 is approved few months back.my I-485 is not yet applied.will she be able apply for her 7th year extension using my -140 approval?

    or please let us know the other possibilities for her to apply for her 7th year extension.
