Hi Oceania 2026 winners,

Firstly congratulations on being selected for further processing! Now the journey really begins!

I have created this thread to have a focal area for Oceania winners to share their stories or ask questions. These countries are:

Hi Everyone,

Some information about the required paperwork for the physician medical. If you do not have these, time to start pulling them together.

Document list:
1. Confirmation email of interview date
2. DS-260 confirmation page
3. Australian Immunisation Record (AIR) of vaccinations
4. GP health summary
5. Passport page scan
6. US passport photos (cannot reuse previous submitted ones)
7. Pre-exam questionnaire

Physical involves medical exam, blood tests and x-ray. May take up to 3 hours to complete all.

Required vaccination evidence on official Australian Immunisation Record for Adults (18-64)
1. Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (DTP) within last 10 years
2. Measles, Mumps, Rubella, (MMR)
3. Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B
4. Polio
5. Varicella
6. Influenza (current calendar year)

Hey, fellow selectees! Thanks for making this thread. I submitted my DS-260 a bit late so it's still early days for me, but thought I'd put down my details! I'm hoping to get my 2NL soon. That being said, since I'm wanting to move to NYC, I'm not TOO worried about an interview that spills over into the early months of 2026, as I'm OK with avoiding the East Coast in January in February! o_O

Is anyone else unable to view their DS260 online currentlyy? Mine is coming up with an error saying my entry does not match their records. I have reached out to the KCC and they have verified I have a Complete & Valid DS260. This whole process is about as stressful as they come. Anyway, fingers crossed.

Possibly a glitch in their system but the 2 most common errors to check are leaving out the leading 0s in the case number, and entering birth date mm-dd-yyyy

Yes, there must be a glitch at their end. My details have always worked, but today they don't....

Same here. Just got the email and thought I'd see if anyone else has this. No 2nl yet but email to confirm November interview. When you click the link to reply it asks for date and time of interview! Also says to confirm within 24 hours...

Hi HSD123,

Yes, I have the same error. It could be because the hamster that powers the website is on strike due to US Government shutdown *shrug*.

If you email KCC and request confirmation of your appointment status, they will confirm the date via email.

Interview date and location: November 2025, Sydney Consulate.

Congrats to everyone, Ive read all your posts and am also unable to access my DS260. I have received my notification from consulate but no 2NL - am I replying to appointment as “November” unknown date and time? I have also booked my Medical appointment in Sydney for 22/10/25, I know my visa ends 6 months from date of medical but that’s ok for my scenario :) I’m hoping because it’s currently 1am in Kentucky that maybe our 2NLs will be sent during business hours there? Anyway, so happy we have this group and keen to share our experiences.
 
For those a step or two ahead of us, is this the same email you got from the Sydney consulate to confirm your interview date? KCC Emailed back to confirm a date but no time. Also the documents attached to this email seem to imply that we need to send physical copies of our documents to Sydney including some originals, but everything I've read says DO NOT send originals. I thought I was a relatively intelligent person but going through this process now I'm not so sure...
(I'm hoping when our 2nl appears there are instructions that make a bit more sense!)

That's okay. Just reply with the confirmation date, and add "will confirm time when 2NL is sent".

Yes, that threw me as well. I am not sending any originals until I have a chance to speak to consulate staff to confirm. You have up to 30 days before your interview date to 'send' them the requested documents, so there is some buffer to clarify from Sydney consular staff.
