Hi all,

I have actually 3 years experience and a bachelor and master from a US university, the problem is that i lost my original high school diploma and i cant have a new original one, am I gonna be accepted in the day of the interview ? knowing that i have with me my bachelor and master diplomas original ones ?

Provide a proof your original is lost and a duplicate is unobtainable. Then your bachelor and/or masters will be accepted

A difficult question is what happens if you never graduated from high school, but have bachelor and masters diplomas. A releif would be to make a statement you have never graduated from high school. Only then you bachelor or masters would be accepted.

That depends on a university. A know a middle school dropout (who did not finish even a middle school) who was admitted to PhD program at MIT without any education higher than 2nd year of middle school

They need to know if you have a high school diploma or not.

Did you have this 3 year work experience after you got your BS and MS ? Did it require a BS or MS degree to get this job? In that case you are fine. The law says "at least high school diploma" so you should be fine unless you end up with an officer who insists for a HS diploma.

Yes by august i will have three years experience in finance and marketing consulting which has relation with BS and master degree !

am afraid a bad officer will require for me the hs diploma

i asked the consulate by email, no clear answer was given to me

Oh come on. Nobody is going to think you dont have high school diploma knowing you finished your master degree. Get the proof of your highest level of education and you're fine.

my university is one of the best in the south and accredited in business

Having no high school diploma is fine if you have all the proofs I listed, provided you have a bachelor or master degree.

actually i just knew that i cant get the original hs diploma again, all i can get is a small paper that witness that i have hs diploma, and even this paper it will take time for that !

people who got the visa, what is your experience in this side?

Generally, you have to prove the hs diploma is unobtainable. Your knowing this fact is not enough, you have to convince the consular or USCIS official in that with clear evidence.
Somehow, you are trying to ignore this important requirement. If not complied with, that could lead to your visa denial.
Of course, if your satisfy your educational requirement through work experience, that is fine.

§ Sec. 42. 65 Supporting documents.

.........
(d) Unobtainable documents. (1) If the consular officer is satisfied, or the catalogue of available documents prepared by the Department indicates, that any document or record required under this section is unobtainable, the officer may permit the immigrant to submit other satisfactory evidence in lieu of such document or record. A document or other record shall be considered unobtainable if it cannot be procured without causing to the applicant or a family member actual hardship as opposed to normal delay and inconvenience

Come on! "To enter the DV program, you must meet either the education or work experience requirement of the DV program: you must have either a high school education or its equivalent, defined as successful completion of a 12-year course of elementary and secondary education"

If you went to american university it's pretty obvious you finished your high school. Otherwise you would not be accepted. Showing your university degree you will definitely prove that you have your elementary and secondary education done. how could you got to the university without finishing high school first?!

That is where the logical mistake is.

As I said, I personally know someone who was admitted to a PhD program in MIT with 2 years of middle school and no attending school or a university after that (before being addmitted to the PhD program at MIT)

You probably know that 3 years of middle school in the US are followed by 4 years of high school before a person could get a hs diploma. That paticular person did not have 3 full years of middle school, he was a middle school dropout in his country. That did not prevent him from being admitted to PhD program at MIT (MIT is a US university, as you probably know)

If you want to avoid getting the requirement fulfilled through educational requirement, but instead done it through work, you need to get your job description from your employer. Also, you will need to find the corresponding job in O*Net database, and you will need to satisfy the job zone and SVP range with what is required by law/regulations.
