This is for my aunt. her 2 kids were addopted by U.S Citizen 15+ years ago through court processing, so she does not have any ties with those kids according to U.S Law.

:mad:I need some help to find out for my aunt who once applied for u.s visit* visa back in 2006 (3 yrs ago) and was rejected and then never applied no where else, she is single and widow.

**If U.S citizen wants to marry her, will that hurt the K3 visa or Immigrant Visa processing? because she once applied for visit* visa only back in 06./or may be because her 2 kids were addopted by U.S Citizen 15+ years ago.**

i dont think it will hurt the case but still wants to see some views:confused:

The most common reason for rejection of a visitor's visa is the presumed intention to overstay the visa and permanently immigrate. With a K3 or Immigrant Visa the explicit purpose is to immigrate, not visit, so they can't reject people who apply for those visas on the basis that they previously wanted to immigrate.

Prior NIV rejections should not harm her K-3 chances.
