Ok, could you try to write that a little clearer and with some punctuation and full sentences and whats fb?

Ok, let me see if I have this straight. You filed an application for asylum using a fake name, with your wrong country, and also a fake story I suppose. Then you went to an asylum interview. After the asylum interview you were put into immigration proceedings. Then you failed to appear for one of your hearings. Later you found a nice boy to marry who wants to petition for you. So you went to an attorney who told you everything will be fine because the fingerprints are expired? Is this basically what you are saying? I want to get it right before I give you an answer. Please take your time and try to make it more clear, because even one detail could change my answer quite a lot.

Ketura22,
What you did is a "Misrepresentation", which is an immigration violation.
There is possibly a way to walk around it in order to resolve your case. So,
You definitely need to hire an experience lawyer, disclose your whole case to your lawyer and take it from there, on one day at a time basis.
I believe you may be successful at the end.
But get a Lawyer because "Misrepresentation" can put your case in indefinite limbo.

Best Luck

i didn't understand a word she was saying, please let a fluent english speaker to write this on behalf of you so we can understand and we give our best advice.

all i want to know. i did my fp one time.is it still on record?since i did it in 2004..

Guys please try not to be Sarcastic about this or any other issue posters might have. I hate to say it but we are here to help each other and lets not to forget that we all in some point of time could not speak english or better said, it's not our first language. in my case I am still struggling with it.
As far as this case is concerned, I would think that as long as you don't have any criminal record it should not come to the light. But the real problem will be how you will answer to the questiones like have you ever filed for anything with USCIS or any question related to your past immigration history.
If USCIS finds out that you are trying to hide anything, specially in that nature, It will cost you big. I personally will use don't ask don't say tactic. I won't voluntarily mention it but If they ask me any related questions I will disclose it.This way I am not breaking any law or not trying to hide anything.
Good luck

Didn't she say she went to high school here in the USA?

She says that she left when she was 9 and came back 10 years later, so I am assuming she just went to high school here and any school before high school was completed overseas. It is not relevant with the issue anyways
