Hi! i am 20 years old. I have got a GC interview scheduled on april 11th based on Diversity Visa Lottery 2008.
Incase, i got approved for the GC, how is it possible for my parents to get GC.

Your best bet would be to wait 5 yrs minus 90 days, that would be approx 4 yrs and 9 months and apply for your citizenship (N-400). Once you get your citizenship, you can try to have your parents visit you on tourist (B1/B2) visa and then apply for their GC while they are here. It will take 3-4 months for them to get their GC.

thanks atlanta_brother for your quick reply. So, the bottomline is; it doesn't matter if u r below 21 or above, the time period is the same, am i right?

That's a spectacularly bad idea, even if USCIS doesn't deem it immigration fraud.

once you get your citizenship, you'll file for your parents' immigration. They will get their immigrant visas within a year or so.

It is more of a case of being a US citizen first before being able to sponsor your parents.

it doesn't matter if u r below 21 or above, the time period is the same, am i right?
