Some people in your position become citizens to speed up the process for spouses significantly. Don't know how long you've been a GC holder.

She can't stay in the U.S. to await a visa becoming available, she would have to either get a work authorized nonimmigrant visa on her own or wait abroad.

As an LPR, you can get a re-entry permit and spend a good deal of time abroad with her and not loose your greencard just due to being abroad for long periods, if you have a re-entrty permit, but can you afford to do that?

IF you are a rather new arrival, perhaps you don't have deep roots here yet? ON THE OTHER HAND, what you do abroad for a long time could jeopardize your greencard. Has she got a good job in the UK so she could support you?

Thank you guys, the situation seems a bit complicated since i am new arrival in USA,and how hard to get work authorized non immigrant visa?she has a degree in Criminology and masters degree in Business administration, does the abroad work experience matters in USA?
Thanks in advance
