Did he get approved yet?

Noman bro, Do you remember what was in your approval mail ? Was that just like mine or case is approved & card has been ordered something like that? Reason I'm asking is, that way I can assume how far I'm from to see that actual plastic.
Atique.

hello

Hi Atique,

By Tuesday or wednesday, you will receive another email saying:

"the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this card, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283".

Probably the sameday you will receive a "Welcome Letter". Keep it at a safe place because you might be using it in the future. You will receive the card after 3 days of this email. Expect platistic by next friday or saturday.

Thanks

I am here!

Hello Guys! thanks for remembering me.. I am here just watching this forum quietly... but anyone of you is most welcome to PM me and I'd be happy to offer any guidance that I can.

I am NOT approved yet. Little disgusted with this approval issue. However I am anticipating that it would come soon.

Noman: You wrote this thread on friday 10th FEB and incidently it was my birthday... :D

..

Hey Lazer,

Good to see you back. I hope everything is ok with you besides not getting approved which kinda SUCKS!!! Take care

Bro, I just received my approval mail after 4 days of E-mail notification. Approval letter says something about biometrics but I already finished that on July 2005. I am sure as Wantmygcnow said this is a generic message that is made for all applicant who has already finished bio or who has not yet. USCIS also mailed me back my RFE (Original Birth Certificate) as they said in their RFE letter. Now just waiting to see that green document that I dream for the last 15 yrs.

Lazer, Please try congressional intervention. Trust me brother it'll help. I have a good feeling your case is just waiting for an approval & you'll see that very soon but it's not gonna hurt your case a bit to speed up the process through congressional intervention. It sure helped my case.

here you go!!

Thanks guys for your support!!! Its really nice of you all.

Well I have written a letter 2 times to Nebraska service center in the last 4 months.(no response yet) Faxed 2 times into nebraska service center (attention to director) in the last 3 months. Called at Nebraska service center (by using trick of choosing right options on 800#) about 10 times (answer: "your case in process. plz wait). Then called 800 number to file a general inquiry with operator to inquire about my case cuz website shows DEC 2000 cases being processed.
Finally I contacted my congress-woman about it... still waiting for 2 weeks.

This all done in last 3 months.
Any other ideas to be more proactive????????

Your best bet is to deal directly with the brass in Washington. I would hire a good attorney who is willing to threaten litigation.

thankful! I don't really thing that I am at this point yet. As a matter of fact they still have some july 2000 cases pending. I think people like "14kshuhsa" are at litigation stage whose case has been pending since 1997. But contacting washington directly can defintely be done. What exactly are you referring to: "brass in washington"??

thanks

Dear Lazer:

Please send FOIPA to FBI to check the name checking status. You will know if you are stuck in name checking or not. if it is, then you have to wait for a couple years like me.

cody2! are you referring to that email that you send to FBI. my understanding is that they do not give out status over the phone anymore?

Dear Lazer:

You can send FOIPA form to FBI, it is a kind of name checking by yourself. As law gives you te rights to know yourself. They will answer you within a month. Do it.

Well I actually called the FBI # and the lady told me that they sent back my FP results within 24 hours on Nov. 03, 2005. So CIS has everything to make a decision on my case now....

Dear LAzer:

It is not finger Print result. It is name checking, in other word, security checking. That is total different two things. Most of us who are delayed are all stuck in name checking, somebody even from 20002.

Hey Lazar, happy birthday.
I wish you a good year with the best lucks.
You should call USCIS and enquiery about your case, just call them and tell them that you case is out of processing time, I think in most cases it will work. I got something back after almost two weeks and then after two months back and forth approval. in your case it should be a lot faster since your case is really old. Call them today and tell them to file an enquiery on your case. To connect to a person, call the 1-800# and then press 1 for Eng. and the rest of them 2 and you have to wait in line and then you will talk to them,
Last time I called he was really helpful, so call them.
Even if you have filed anything that force them to persue you case, you should call them atleast once a month and let them know again.
Goodluck man, Your jurney will be over soon.

Nas
