for H1 revalidation?
My H1 was valid till 09/01/2003 and my employer sent the revalidation application by fedex on 08/29/2003. Now September first being a holiday , it was recieved at INS Texas on 09/02/2003 .. Should I be concerned ? My employer already got the reciept notice. How long does it take to get H1 revalidated ? Do I have to mail the application before the expiration day or is it that INS has to recieve the application before that date?

Also, I have applied my I485 in October 2002, Can I apply for EAD now, even with an expired visa/I-94?

For Revalidation or Extension?. INS Texas does not revalidate the Visa stamp; I hope your employer sent the petition for H1 status extension

Will I be out of status just 'coz my H1 petition reached INS one day after my visa expiration day ? What effect will that have on my adjustment of status application?

Can they reject my visa application on that ground?

When I apply for my EAD , don't I have to send them a copy of my I-94 too? What effect will that have on my application if the I-94 has expired? Can I just use online application at BCIS website?

Also, can I change my application to premium processing as I have heard that INS takes 6-7 months sometimes to process I129s..
 
so you sent a renewal of H1 and not revalidation of the H1 visa stamp. Know the terminology before shooting off questions.
No you are not out of status and extension will not be refused.
Yes you can change to PP.
I would advise you to wait till you get a receipt notice or h1 approval from BCIS before applying for EAD
