Yeah it is amazing - but you can see we have "lost" traffic while we are at the new site. Once the data is merged I am hoping we revert to the old address - as that comes up in searches more often...
 
:rolleyes: So, is it just me being paranoid or did any one else seem to have noticed that luvubritisimon and bulldog both seem to have disappeared right about the same time? :eek:

LOL - come on Mom. I had a fan club with one member. Even if that member was Pitpuppy, it was a fan club. Don't steal my dream!
 
So when the old data is transferred, does this mean that all the old threads will come back and be revived essentially? I was thinking of starting a new Aussie thread but then wondered whether we'll just be able to continue the old one...?
 
Hi guys, just putting my hand up here in the new forums! A little confused by it all but would love to know if there'll be another Australian DV-2014 thread as I had my interview last week and am keen to share my experiences (as my situation is a little unique)!

These forums have been a huge help during the whole process. I have a number of friends that were selected for 2015 and I feel like an 'expert' giving them advice because of all the information I've found on these forums! Good stuff.
 
Simon, I was also confused with what had happened with this forum - as I have been absent for quite some time.
Is THIS here still the No. 1 place for all the DV2014 peeps, or is the new hip place over at visajourney dot com?

Hi Britsimon, all is well down here in Perth. Alas no, 4th time unlucky, but not to worry, life continues on, as does my degree! Ever the optimist, I will take what Karma dishes out and keep making plans, current and alternate! Hoping you and yours are doing great :) Q

Sorry you didn't win. OC has a 1 in 20 selection rate - so keep trying!

One good thing about OC is the odds are so much better than other regions if you keep trying you'll probably get selected.

I kept telling myself that over the years and in year five I've finally been selected.
 
It's like there is a 'movement in the force' as October gets closer, I am so used to applying it would be odd not too!!! Thoroughly agree with you and Britsimon, the odds are definitely in our favour down here so there will be two applications for DV 2016 in a few months :)

Until then, life is wonderful, green card or no, so I will roll with it! :)
