hard to find a new project.
Gosh, things arent looking very good at all.

Just checked with WA Sesa

They are still processing last week of April.
Hopefully, applications filed in July will be current in February.

He also joked that California will never current with the load they
have.

How do you check status with SESA...

Thanks for inputs.. waitingnwaiting

Will you please let me know how did you get that info from SESA...or if you prefer update us on a regular basis.

How\'s queue ststus for I-140

how is queue doing for I-140. do we need to wait for similar period after getting labor thru. I mean once they clear labor everyone goes to I140 queue. so say 8-10 months for I140 too.

I can update you regularly.
Another H1-B guy told me not to call them every time.
It will irritate them and also they will suspect that there
is a problem with our application.

The case with labor priority date is very obvious.
All the websites will be updated immediately.
You can watch this website (immigration.com)itself for the update.

As for I-140 I havent reached that stage. So I dont know.
I hope it is not 8 months like you said.

last time i heard a lot of SESA are stuck at processing April 2001

Seems the 245(i) law which allowed illegal immigrants to have labor
certification if they filed for labor before April 30 2001, caused a lot of illegal people from Mexico to apply during the last week of
april 2001.
Once they are taken care of then our labor will be processed.

More advertising required?

Has anybody gotten an application back, requiring more advertising, due to softened economic conditions?

Also, what is up with processing dates. RIR has been stuck at 4/2001 (per Rajiv\'s site) for months now.

Does anyone have any updates?

My attorney filed my LC with the Dept of Labor on Oct. 31, 2001. Here is what I got from the attorney: They are currently taking 6-8 months to adjudicate labor certifications--so now we just need to wait. I will let you know as soon as we hear anything from them.

I haven\'t heard anything yet.

SESA has at last finished April.

I am told that SESA has started with MAY. Hope they go faster now.

Processing May?

Can I ask where you heard this from? Per Rajiv\'s site (updated 2/13), they are still processing April.

Let\'s keep our fingers crossed though!
